Day 2: Unforgettable Carnival Event - Venetian Carnivals

CARNIVAL EVENT – HOTEL MONACO & GRAND CANAL:

The extravagance of the Carnival in just one party, because Carnival in Venice means immersing yourself in another era, watching unexpected shows and becoming skilled dancers for a night. This masked ball with shows and costumes has been created only for this one occasion and takes place in the Ridotto Hall, the beating heart of the sumptuous 18th century Venetian Carnivals, frequented by nobles, players and adven- turers of the time, such as Giacomo Casanova. The guests will be welcomed with a sumptuous aperitif, followed by the four-course seated dinner, paired with regional wines. The vegetarian or meat menu option can be selected at the time of booking.

The orchestra whose members will strictly wear period dress- es will play live music in the evening. It will set the rhythm of the party with singing interludes, ballets and evocative fanta- sies. The party will also feature the involvement of the guests who, under the guidance of the dance teachers, will whirl around the hall replicating the steps of minuets, quadrilles and waltzes.

EVENING SCHEDULE

9:00 PM Dinner, entertainment, and group period dances

1:00 AM Closing of the party

Venue max capacity: 100 people.

Create your own unique Venetian mask at our mask-painting workshop! Paint your mask using acrylic tempera paints of different colors, and then add finishing touches with feathers, ribbons, sequins…. Under the guidance of our artist, you’ll choose one mask from more than 50 different models, all papier maché handmade pieces, and decorate it using a number of techniques. You will be guided through each of the steps of the decoration, including the final touch – gold and silver metallic paints which will bring something more on your wonderful mask. You will of course take your decorated mask home with you and treasure the memory of this wonderful experience a long, long time!

Day 4: Discover Venice on board of a gondola!

An unforgettable tour not to be missed! Discover Venice on board of a gondola! The best way to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of a city built on water is on board a gondola. Gliding through Venice’s canals, you’ll be introduced to the splendid palaces, churches, bridges, gardens and warehouses lining the city’s liquid streets. Embarking is possible from one of these fol- lowing gondola stations: Danieli, Dogana or Vallaresso, Bauer. Depending on your hotel we will reconfirm the meeting point. Ideal for photographers.
